Thinking Of Opening A Portfolio Account With RPIML?

Opening a Portfolio Account with RPIML will facilitate you making investment in the securities both listed and deemed to be listed in the capital market of Bangladesh. Through the said account, YOU will be an investor in the capital market.

An Investor is required to download Portfolio Account Opening Form and send a duly filled-in Form through courier to RPIML.

The Documents mentioned below are also required to be submitted along with the Filled Portfolio Account Opening Form

For Individual Applicant:

• Three (3) Passport size photographs duly attested by the Introducer.
• Photocopy of Passport/National ID /Driving license/TlN Certificate/Employer's Certificate.
• Bank Account Statement duly authenticated by the Bank.
• Name, Client Code and Signature of the introducer (Existing Portfolio Account Holder).
• Signature (s) along with two copies passport size photograph (s) of each of the Nominee (s) duly attested by the Account Holder.
• Letter of introduction from employer / organizational photo ID card (if applicable).

For Joint Applicants:

• Three (3) Passport size photographs of each applicant duly attested by the introducer.
• Photocopy of National ID/ Passport/Driving license/TlN Certificate/Employer's ID card of each applicant.
• Bank Account Statement of each applicant/joint applicant (s) duly authenticated by the Bank.
• Name, Client Code and signature of the introducer (Existing Portfolio Account Holder).
• Signature(s) along with two copies passport size photograph (s) of each of the Nominee(s) duly attested by the Portfolio Account Holder(s).
• Letter of introduction from employer / organizational photo ID card (if applicable).

For Corporate Account: 
Primary Documents:

• Three (3) photographs of each of the Signatories duly attested by the Authorized Signatory/Company Secretary.
• Board Resolution regarding opening of Portfolio Account duly attested by Authorized Signatory/Company Secretary.
• Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company duly attested by the Authorized Signatory/Company Secretary.
• List of Authorized Signatories to operate the Portfolio Account duly attested by the Authorized Signatory/Company Secretary.
• Copy of valid trade license.
• Latest copy of Form XII.
• National ID card / applicant valid passport copy/TIN certificate.
• Bank Account Statement duly authenticated by the Bank.

Secondary Documents:

Documents for Proprietorship Business:

• Copy of valid trade license.
• 18- a permission from Bangladesh Bank (for GSA & agents only).
• Photograph of Authorized Signatory (if any) attested by the principal applicant.
• If nominee is mentioned, the nominee’s signature, attested photograph etc. should be taken.

Documents for Partnership Business:

• Copy of valid trade license.
• Partnership deed.
• 18- a permission from Bangladesh Bank (for GSA & agents only).
• Photograph of Authorized Signatory (if any) attested by the principal applicant.
• If nominee is mentioned, the nominee’s signature, attested photograph etc. should be taken.

Documents for Limited Liability Company:

• Copy of RJSC certified Memorandum and Article of Association.
• Copy of Certificate of Incorporation and commencement of business (for Public Limited Company).
• List of directors along with addresses.
• List of Authorized Signatories along with addresses.
• Copy of board resolution to open the account and authorization for operation.

Documents for Association/Trust/Society:

• Copy of Constitution/Bylaws/Rules.
• Copy of registration.
• Trust deed (of trust account only).
• List of members of governing bodies along with addresses.
• List of Authorized Signatories along with addresses.
• Copy of resolution of governing body to open the account and authorization for operation.
