Why Should You Visit : Love Heights? Perched on a high rocky headland where the ocean meets the rainforest, the lighthouse is one of a series of small lighthouses designed by the New South Wales (NSW) government architect, James Barnet. Most of the picnic area was closed and the best way to enjoy it was to go for the button if fall track which needs several hours and properly planning a full day. Forster Bicentennial Walk/ Frewins Walk The best place to start is the Forster Bicentennial Walk. The Sturt Highway stretches 947km from the Hume Highway (M31) in Tarcutta, NSW to Northern Expressway (M2) in Gawler, SA. Inside of Bruxner Park Flora Reserve you will find one of the best places to go. Also on the path is the 1880s Fort Scratchley, a historic site and a viewpoint for spotting migrating whales. Second Head Lookout Forster Beneath the lookout is Pebbly Beach, where the path meanders past the Tanks to the section known as Frewin's Walk. Allow 2 to 3 hours. Theres plenty of Cafes, restaurants hotels that serve fine dining and or fast food. The area is well cared for and the small cafe and covered seating areas make it a good picnic spot. Truly one of the better places in the world. The chicken was so juicy and yummy. Kirra Beach is mostly frequented by locals but is another great spot if you or some of the family are really experienced and avid surfers. The biggest selling point here is that you can not only see whales and sea lions up close, but you can also interact with them intimately and get a dolphin kiss!
